The Arch has provided residential services for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in Clinton since 1974. At The Arch, people with and without I/DD share life experiences together. We celebrate each person’s unique gifts, we value diversity, and we practice inclusion. At The Arch, we are more than clients and employees – we are all community members contributing our gifts and experiences for the common good of our community and society as a whole. This core value permeates everything we do in our community!

Our Guiding Statements

Our Mission

The mission of the Arch is to make known the gifts of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and provide a community model where everyone is valued equally.

Our Vision

Our vision is to offer a comprehensive range of quality services for adults with I/DD in partnership with other area agencies and advocates. We seek to assist any individual with I/DD who inquiries about services, whether it is with The Arch or through referral to an area partner.

What is life at The Arch like?

We think of The Arch as a welcoming and family-like community that happens to also be a provider of quality services for our community members with I/DD.
